Nozzles Shape

Once you know how large a bore size you require in your nozzle, you then have to find the right shape nozzle for your sandblaster. We recommend using tungsten carbide nozzles because they last significantly longer than either their steel or ceramic counterparts. We do stock the ceramic nozzles for the Lindsay sandblast pots though.

	Our standard Blast Shop tungsten nozzles are available with 2.0mm, 2.5 mm, 3.1 mm, 4.0 mm and 6.0 mm bore size. Although the 2/2.5 mm nozzle does not have a full aluminium case all these nozzles are used with the same nozzle holder.
	Clemco tungsten nozzles have a thread running down the side of the nozzle. There are however 2 grades of thread (coarse and fine). The coarse thread has approximately 5 threads, the fine has nearer 10. This nozzle is available with 3.1 mm and 4.0 mm bore size. (The nozzle on the left is the coarse threaded version)
	Our sleeve or plain tungsten nozzle is the simplest of all - it is a tungsten insert that is designed to fit into a 1/2" (ID) hose. A jubilee clip is then used to secure the nozzle in place. The sleeve nozzle is available in 2.0mm, 2.5 mm, 3.0 mm, 4.0 mm and 6.0mm sizes.
	Goldmann nozzles are made from boron. They have a specific design to fit into the blast head. Boron is the hardest wearing of all the nozzle materials but it is more expensive and fragile. These nozzles are avaialble in 4.0 mm and 6.0 mm sizes.
	We also supply Odling's & Vixen style nozzles. They are tapered and have a retaining ring aboyut 1/4 of the way up from the base - 2.0 to 6mm

Lindsay nozzles are ceramic nozzles and come in a varietly of bore sizes (all imperial). We stock 1/8" (3.1 mm), 3/16" (4.0 mm) and 1/4" (6.0 mm).
